Gift Card Regulations - Empoli

1. ORGANIZER

1.1. The website www.empoli.ro is operated by EKO JEWELRY S.R.L., with its registered office located in Nicolae Caramfil Street no. 87, 4th Floor, Sector 1, Bucharest, registered at the Trade Register under no. J2017001071238, having CUI 35467000, hereinafter referred to as "EMPOLI".

2. DEFINITIONS

  • Physical Gift Card – card purchased exclusively from EMPOLI physical stores, usable only in these stores.

  • Digital Gift Card – card purchased online at www.empoli.ro, delivered by email, usable exclusively on the website.

  • Unique Code – an alphanumeric identifier associated with a prepaid amount, which allows the card to be used for purchases. The balance can be checked by contacting EMPOLI online or in-store.

3. FEATURES AND VALIDITY

3.1. EMPOLI gift cards are available in the following fixed values: 500 RON, 1000 RON, 2000 RON, and 5000 RON.

3.2. Each card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

3.3. After the expiration date, the card can no longer be used, and the balance is considered lost, without the possibility of refund.

4. PURCHASE AND DELIVERY

4.1. Physical Gift Card:

  • It is purchased only from EMPOLI physical stores.

  • It is issued as a physical card with a unique printed code, associated with a fixed amount (500 RON, 1000 RON, 2000 RON, or 5000 RON).

  • It does not visibly show the balance, but it can be checked at any EMPOLI store or by contacting the EMPOLI online team.

  • It is usable exclusively in the EMPOLI physical store network, for a single purchase, of equal or greater value than the amount registered in the system.

  • No change is given for unused amounts, and the difference (if any) can be paid using the standard payment methods available in the store.

  • The physical card is non-refundable and cannot be used online on the www.empoli.ro.

4.2. Digital Gift Card:

  • Purchased from www.empoli.ro.

  • It is delivered automatically by email after payment confirmation, containing:

    • available amount,

    • expiration date,

    • unique code (which must be entered in the special field at checkout),

    • button "Visit the online store" for quick access to www.empoli.ro,

    • link "See gift card balance" – directs to a page where the customer can see the current value and expiration date of their card.

  • The card can be printed, copied, or scanned with a QR code from the email.

  • The digital card is usable exclusively on the EMPOLI website, only once, for orders equal to or greater than the amount on the card.

  • Cannot be paid cash on delivery and cannot be used in EMPOLI physical stores.

4.3. Gift cards cannot be used to purchase other gift cards.

4.4. They cannot be added in the same shopping cart with jewelry or other products (in the case of the digital format).

5. TERMS OF USE

5.1. The card can be used only once, for purchases equal to or greater than the amount available on the card.

5.2. No change is given for unused amounts. Payment differences are settled by the methods available at checkout.

5.3. Physical Gift Card can be used exclusively in EMPOLI physical stores, and Digital Gift Card only on the website www.empoli.ro. Cards CANNOT be used interchangeably.

5.4. The unique code is mandatory for use. The buyer/user is responsible for keeping it.

5.5. EMPOLI is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or fraudulent use of cards. These cannot be replaced or refunded.

5.6. In the case of digital cards, the customer or the person receiving the card by email will be able to:

  • access the empoli.ro website directly from the email via the option "Visit the online store",

  • check the balance and validity of the card using the link "See gift card balance" (accessible directly from the email),

  • use the card only once, by entering the unique code in the “Gift Code” field on the order completion page.

6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

6.1. Gift cards, regardless of format, CANNOT be returned.

6.2. In case of returning jewelry paid with a gift card, the customer will receive a new gift card of equal value, valid for 12 months from reissue. No money will be refunded.

6.3. Returning a gift card without a purchase is not allowed.

7. PERSONAL DATA

7.1. EMPOLI processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation and Regulation (EU) 679/2016 (GDPR).

7.2. The processed data may include: name, email, phone, transaction information.

7.3. The purposes include: issuing and delivering the card, communicating with the customer, resolving any complaints, defending the company's legitimate interests.

7.4. More information about data protection is available in the Privacy Policy on www.empoli.ro.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

8.1. EMPOLI is not responsible for unauthorized use or loss of the card.

8.2. After the card is transferred to another person, that person is considered the legal user and implicitly accepts these regulations.

8.3. EMPOLI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the gift card program at any time, with prior notification to customers.

9. DISPUTES AND CLAIMS

9.1. Any complaint related to the use of the card can be sent to the email address: contact@empoli.ro.

9.2. Any disputes will be resolved amicably, and in the absence of an agreement, by the competent courts in Romania.

10. FINAL PROVISIONS

10.1. These regulations are available for free at www.empoli.ro/carduri-cadou and in EMPOLI stores.

10.2. The use of gift cards implies full acceptance of these regulations.
